The node assembles clinicians and basic scientists, who are interested in developing, improving, and applying microscopic and advanced optical imaging methods. The methods cover the entire spectrum from electron tomography and conventional histology on the one side to optical coherence tomography (OCT) and photoacustic imaging on the other side.
